Important: Mounjaro carries a boxed warning about the risk of thyroid C-cell tumors seen in rodent studies; it should not be used by people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
